At the end of this session, you will:
- Be the proud owner of a WordPress.com website
- Choose a design (“theme”) for your website
- Upload a photo and display it on your website
- Add text and a link to your website
- Create a new page for your website
- Edit your site’s main navigation menu

- Set up your own WordPress.com account. Email confirmation can take up to 30 minutes. If you already have an account, help someone who does not.
- What do you hope to get out of this class? Each person will answer individually.

- Creating Content
– Create your first web page
– Create your first blog post
– Add a photo and a photo gallery
– Text edit - Configuring Your Website
– Set home page to either a static page or your blog/news via Settings –> Reading
