Affinity Photo is a great Photoshop alternative, and, like Photoshop, it has its quirks. One thing I was struggling with today was making a simple transparent rectangle like this:
Should be easy, right?! Nope! Here is how to create a rectangle in Affinity Photo:
First, create a rectangle using the “Rectangle Tool”:
With the just-draw rectangle still selected, click “Fill” and then click the circle with the red line through it:
That’s it! Like most things in the world, it’s simple…once you know how to do it! Hopefully this post saves you a few hours of headaches!
