The Better Blogroll WordPress plugin sorts your links randomly. There is no built-in option to change this. BUT, if you are willing to delete a couple of words from the plugin’s core file, you can hook it into My Link Order or any other link ordering methods you might be using. To stop the random ordering of links, open the “better_blogroll.php” file in the plugin’s folder and change line #54 from
$querystr .= ” ORDER BY rand() LIMIT $bbw_number”;
to
$querystr .= ” LIMIT $bbw_number”;
and then change the end of line #73 from
ORDER BY rand() LIMIT $bbw_number”;
to
LIMIT $bbw_number”;
That’s all!
